Governing Documents
The standards of Homeowner Associations are found in the governing Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCRs) and Board of Director Bylaws.
CCRs set the rules of the HOA community. They describe the requirements and limitations of what you can do with your property. The goal of the CCRs is to protect, preserve, and enhance property values in the community.
The Bylaws govern how the HOA operates. They describe how to run the HOA as a business through Board of Director activities and fiscal responsibilities.
